The Fellowship program at ATBHK is an opportunity for educators in all spaces to learn how to apply Kentucky Black History content in their teaching.
The Fellowship is an opportunity to collaborate closely with the Association for a stipend of $1000. This will be for their participation in events from July-January and beyond.
Fellows will:
– Get resources on teaching Black Kentucky History
-Attend professional development sessions in person and virtually
-Collaborate with other educators
-Have opportunities to create content or deliver presentations
-Take their new knowledge of Black History back to their schools and spaces
The Association is still accepting applicants for our 2024-2025 Fellowship program! Both educators and Pre-Service Teachers should apply, regardless of grade level or subject area taught.
